SIMI KOMENDA

Simi is from Dallas, Texas and is pursuing a Master in Marine Biology degree at JCU. Before coming to Australia, she earned her Bachelor in Marine Science at Samford University, Alabama. 

As a Masters intern at the Global Ecology Lab, she is working on a variety of projects including supporting the development of the Atlas of Ecosystems, mastering her coding skills in GEE and contributing to the building of remote sensing training datasets.
