BEN CRESSWELL

I am a marine ecologist with a broad range of interests in ecology and evolution in marine systems. My doctoral research focused on the unique ecology of predatory fishes living on remote seamount and pinnacle reefs and the environmental drivers of their distribution and usage of these distinct systems. In the Global Ecology Lab at JCU, my work focuses on synthesising marine geospatial data for integration into the world’s first Atlas of Ecosystems, mapped to the IUCN’s Global Ecosystem Typology.
